Fatima holds a specialty certification in oncology and is a leader in her practice dedicating the last 10 years to caring for oncology patients. Since 2015, Fatima has acted as Clinical Nurse Practice Leader (Educator) at a Regional Cancer Centre and has received the Betty Watt Prize for Courageous Leadership in Nursing as well as the Frank Gerstein Advanced Education Award for Palliative Care.
